Yixiao is a bilingual Chinese singer, dancer, actor, and model. She is a recent graduate of the Institute for American Musical Theatre and has three years of Meisner training at the Michael Chekhov Actors Studio Boston.

She grew up in Beijing, China’s cultural center. She spent ten years singing with the Beijing Philharmonic Choir, touring internationally, performing at the 2008 Olympics Opening Ceremony, and winning numerous international awards.

Yixiao discovered her passion for acting while studying Computer Engineering at Cornell University and transitioned into a performing career after several years working in FinTech.
